Basketball Camp 2011

Basketball Camp 2011 is a summer camp for young basketball lovers from Israel and the USA. The camp combines a fun and professional basketball program with a guided tour of all of Israel's beautiful historic sites while experiencing the many wonderful Jewish traditions.

The camp will be 2 weeks in length and the basketball portion will take place in the famous Wingate sports community, which is located near Tel Aviv near the sea.

Combine serious basketball training with the Israel experience – and go back and show off your newly-honed basketball skills and carry with you an experience you will never forget, an experience that will bring you closer than ever to Israel and its people.

Our Training

About the Place

Wingate Institute is known as the largest and best sports facility in Israel. It is located on a beautiful cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and a 20 minute drive from Tel Aviv. Set in spacious green lawns & a relaxing environment, Wingate has the newest facilities and most up to date equipment, designed for various sport activities and making Wingate the perfect place for a sports enthusiast. During the camp there is a 24/7 medical staff as well as 24 hour security. You will be staying at the hotel where all of Israel's top athletes and national teams stay while in training. The rooms are very comfortable & include private bathroom, air conditioning and TV. Food is included and will be served at the Wingate main dining room in the evenings and during the day there's also an open cafeteria.

Basketball

Our goal is to get the best basketball player out of you no matter what your skill level is. The program has been put together for you by professional players and coaches, a program designed for all ages and levels of skill. The program includes not only the physical aspects of the game, but also psychology and strategy and how to improve your techniques. You will get the story straight from top coaches and Israeli national team players who are committed to the game and will let you benefit from their knowledge and experience to improve your personal and team skills, sending you home a winner.

Getting to know Israel

Traveling throughout the country gives you a chance to better understand Israel's long cultural past and its vibrant and exciting present. We'll tour famous historic sites alongside new attractions: The Dead Sea, the green valleys of Galilee, The Old City of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. You will visit an IDF training base where soldiers & officers train to become commanders.
